Day 21: Conclusion

Proverbs 24:14,

“Know that wisdom is such to your soul; if you find it, there will be a future, and your hope will not be cut off.”

As we come to the end of this devotional, I found Proverbs 24:14 to be an appropriate send off. In this Proverb we find that our hope is not cut off when we find wisdom because the real purpose of wisdom is to know God’s truth and what is real.

When we know what is real, we discover it’s true when Paul says “our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.” (Ephesians. 6:12) Once we see the truth, we realize that a border disaster, a lost war and so many fighting over a vaccination isn’t about the physical, but instead about the spiritual.

Our battle is a battle of good versus evil and right versus wrong. We must fight the right battle, with the right weapons, in the right way.

Action: Reflect on your approach to the concerns of this world. Has your approach been physical or spiritual and what can you change?
