Our worship ministry is lead by Pastor Eddie. When people hear the word “worship”, they typically think of singing but in reality, worship is about so much more.
How we live our lives is a form of worship. What we think, say and do can bring honor and glory to God.
How we spend our money is a form of worship. Giving our tithes and offerings to God through the local church brings honor and glory to Him.
Reading and applying the Bible is a form of worship as we grow more like Christ.
While all of these things, and several others, are part of ongoing, daily worship in our lives, we do have a set time of worship at Emmanuel in the form of singing, drama and scriptures. We recognize that there are different preferences and people come from varied backgrounds when it comes to worship. Led by our Worship Pastor, our entire team strives to ensure each service brings us to a place where we can receive a word from the Lord and respond accordingly.
To that end, we provide 2 different worship styles:
8:00 am is Bluegrass Gospel which includes some older songs and hymns.
9:30 am & 11:00 am are identical in contemporary worship which includes newer choruses and songs, similar to what you might hear on K-Love.
