Our vision, values and strategy are characterized by the following acronym:
Every member a missionary. It’s not just the duty of our pastors and staff to meet the needs of our community and church members. It is the duty of every Christian to reach out with love. Ephesians 4:11-13
Major on relationships. The life of the church is the life of its people. Our greatest priority is people. Ritualism is the object of manmade religion. God said, Love your neighbor. Matthew 22:37
Make structure fit ministry. Whenever a church’s purpose is to care for its buildings and internal structure, it is no longer a church, but a museum. The organization of the church should be fluid enough to change and grow as God leads. 1 Corinthians 14:40
Authentic Leadership. Our goal, as a church, is to lead people to the Lord and then grow them up in such a way that we are producing our own leaders from within. 1 Peter 5:1-5
Never leave our Statements of Faith. Whatever the pressures of our culture, we can never compromise the teachings of the Word of God, which we believe to be essential. 1 Timothy 4:15
Unsaved get first attention. Reaching the unsaved will always be our high priority. This means that in maturity we must postpone our leisure and convenience for that which counts the most. 1 Corinthians 9:19-23
Emphasize evangelism, worship and discipleship. As a church, sticking with three specific activities best suits our purposes. Evangelism, worship and discipleship will always be our emphasis. Matthew 28:17-20
Love and accountability. Love and accountability are synonymous. Love without accountability is dishonest or at best counterfeit. Our commitment to the Lord and to each other is no different. 1 Corinthians 13:1-4
