Reflecting on 9/30/18, I believe God did some amazing things in our midst. It was a wonderful day of worship, vision and salvation. We heard the word presented in a dramatic way to make us think about it, we saw 5 people follow the Lord in the obedience of baptism, and you have responded to the vision I believe God has given to our church.
We call it Vision 3000 after the results on the Day of Pentecost in Acts 2 when 3000 people were saved. But the truth of the matter is, the number is not about 3000–it is about one. The vision is “each one reach one”. Who is your one? Let’s start thinking about how we can reach that one.
If you want to hear more about Vision 3000 and what it means in terms of Emmanuel’s next church planting project, I want to invite you to our CORE meeting on October 15. It will take place at 6:30pm in the Activity center. Specifically, I will be sharing new steps that Emmanuel will take to reach south-central Montana with the Gospel. This is a chance for you to hear more information than we have time to share on a Sunday. I hope you will join us.
